Jerney Kaagman hopes on a pill for Parkinson’s, the debilitating nerve disease which they already have a few years of suffering.
The 69-year-old Kaagman taking medications that the pathological process stabilize, “but a drug that the disease heals would be more than welcome,” says the former singer of Earth & Fire in The Telegraph.
Kaagman has “good and less good days”. On lesser days, they almost don’t move forward and she needs all her appointments to cancel. “But with a little help of my dear husband Bert red I’m fine though.”
Kaagman want to emphasize that the “definitely not a hopeless condition” is at her home. “We still live in our own home. We have some wonderful people around us who hand and money to grant.”
The old singer is also glad that they are not “jerks” like Michal J. Fox, the famous Back to the Future actor who also Parkinson’s. “His situation is more serious than that from me.” She hopes the American star once to the Netherlands. “I am sure he is a compelling and inspiring speech, or college can give.”
