Sport/Voetbalmagazine went to Douala in search of the roots of Sébastien Siani, captain of KV Oostende and Kameroens international. He talks about his ambition, on and off the field.
On december 21 Sébastien Siani thirty years. However, his performance at KV Oostende still crescendo. And that applies just as much for his ambition. He does not deny to beckon to a transfer with a sporting and financial gain.
‘I stay to make rapid progress. That I joined the national team with players of a certain level can be measured, it is enriching. It gave me the desire and strength to a new challenge. I feel ready for the abroad, if there is an offer that each party will be better.’
He also wants to go back to studying. ‘I’ll stay with Ostend, then I start there next year. After my career I want to own a business, perhaps in real estate. Therefore, I would like management and marketing study. We will see. Now I put in on a good Africa Cup with Cameroon, and on a good seizoeneinde with KVO.’
