The police in Birmingham, Ala., were investigating a shooting that took place on Sunday night outside a teen party, a report said.
The police closed off several blocks in the centre of Birmingham, Ala., on Sunday night after six teenagers were shot outside a party venue, according to a report.

One of the teenagers suffer life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Johnny Williams told AL.com.
A seventh of the teenager sustained a knee injury during the chaotic scene, AL.com reported.
Shots sounded around 10 pm in the WorkPlay, a music venue in the centre of the city AL.com reported. It was unclear how many suspects were involved.

The shooting occurred outside the club to two men who quarrel went to the outside, the news website reported.
Sgt. Timothy Gardiner told the outlet that an argument developed outside the area site before the shots were fired.
The parents were told where to piuck up in their teenage years, according to the report.
