Police respond to shooting at Maryland high school
Maryland school says that the case is included.
Great Mills High School in Maryland, was on lockdown after a shooting on Tuesday morning, school officials confirmed.
The incident was recorded and the St. Mary ‘s Sheriff’ s Office was on the scene, the school said on its website. Maryland State Police also told Fox News they were responding to the incident. Agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were also on the way to the scene.
There is a Shooting at Great Mills high School. The school is on lock, the event is recorded, the Sheriff’s office is on the scene with additional information to follow.

The Sheriff’s Office warned the parents to not “to respond to the school”, but instead go to Leonardtown high School, where students are transported.
NBC Washington reported multiple injuries, but that was not immediately confirmed by the authorities.
A shooting reported Tuesday morning at Great Mills High School in Maryland.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan tweeted Tuesday that his office is “monitoring closely the situation at Great Mills high School.”
“Maryland State Police is in contact with the local police, and ready to offer support. Our prayers are with the students, the staff of the school, and the first reactions of” Hogan wrote.

The school is located about 60 miles from Washington, D. C.
The incident comes more than a month after the shooting at a school in marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in parkland, Fla. That massacre, carried out by a former student, left 17 people dead. The shooting also comes days before nearly 500,000 people were expected to march Saturday in Washington, D. C. to protest against gun violence, and honor those killed in Park massacre.
