The Columbian singer and dancer who says she can’t wait to grace the stage at the Hard Rock Stage in downtown Miami, and to take part in what she describes as an ode to the Latin american culture, thanks to a hip-hop legend and business mogul, Jay-Z.

“I’ve always wanted to be performing on the Super Bowl. I think of it as the ‘Holy Grail’ of the entertainment industry,” She told Zane Lowe in an interview that Apple is to the tune of “Beats, 1,” Tuesday. “It’s a sporting event, but it has a big relevance to us, the artists, and I think it’s going to be fantastic. And, I’m going to celebrate my birthday, and for 100 million people. For a small party. It’s been surreal.”
The mother-of-two revealed that Jay-Z personally called her to extend the offer, the execution of Lopez on the NFL’s biggest night, and this is entertainment and management company, Roc Nation, is set to produce it.
“He called me on the phone and he asked me if I wanted to be a part of it. I think this is going to be an event to celebrate the hispanic culture and the role of women in the industry.”
The three-time Grammy-winner said that she did not know what to expect from the show, but said that she had already begun to worry about the production, even if it is less than a month ago, and that they are, and the Bronx-born Lopez have been announced as co-headliners.
