Seventh trophy under Zidane: Real Madrid beats Barcelona in Supercup

Real Madrid in the Spanish Supercup bite. Just as in the heenwedstrijd showed the People of madrid in Bernabeu a bit too strong for eternal rival FC Barcelona.

A pearl of Marco Asensio, the second in as many races, and Karim Benzema put the 2-0-position on the board. Real Madrid had the heenwedstrijd in the city of Barcelona with a 1-3 win.

Seven prizes in twenty months

It is already the second award for Real Madrid this season – the Royal beat earlier Manchester United during the European Supercup – and the seventh trophy under Zinedine Zidane. Since the Frenchman in January 2016 as head coach at the helm of the Royal took over, insured Real after all, all of two Champions League cups (2016 and 2017), a Spanish title (2017), the Supercup of 2016 and the world cup for clubs (2016).
