Seven million households affected by power outage in Taiwan

Taiwan has been hit by a huge power outage where seven million household suffer from encountered. Millions of homes and businesses were occupied by the failure Tuesday night without power. On Wednesday it was the power supply restored.

The failure was the result of a human error. One of the main power plants came to the flat to lie down because of the supply of gas which the electricity was disrupted. The mistake was made at the staatsgasbedrijf. The minister of Economic Affairs has resigned because of the massive power failure

It is not yet clear why this mistake such huge consequences. The president of Taiwan,Tsai Ing-wen wants to make a quick clarification.

The failure was the largest since an earthquake in 1999.
