Servertak Hewlett Packard sees sales plummet

HP Enterprise, the business side of the computer manufacturer, saw its sales in the last quarter with a 10 percent plummet.

That the company has disclosed in its most recent quarterly results (pdf). HP Enterprise is one of two companies in 2015 is founded, when HP decided in two, to split. The company focuses mainly on the business market with the sales of storage media and servers.

The turnover fell in the last financial quarter to 11.4 billion euros, a decrease of 10 percent compared with 12.7 billion from a year earlier. The profit of the company, however, remained the same: just as a year earlier, there was 267 million euro earned.

According to HP Enterprise dropped revenue due to a reduced demand for servers and storage. A “prominent client” would much less have purchased from the company.
