Serena Williams continues to exercise during pregnancy
Serena Williams is just planning to continue to workout during her pregnancy. That tells the tennis player in an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph.
“I’m going to be as long as possible to continue to do so,” says the 35-year-old Williams. “I want the baby is healthy and I also need to a healthy life,” she continues. Together with her fiancé, Reddit owner Alexis Ohanian, she prepares seriously for her upcoming motherhood.
Williams has 39 grand slam titles to her name and is planning to after the birth of the baby soon to return to the tennis court. “I look forward to motherhood but also to my return to the job,” said Williams, who says she now once competitive set. “I always think of: what happens now, the next victory, the next prize”.
The tennis player is planning to return for the next edition of the Australian Open, the tournament that this year they won while she was expecting. On the question of whether that ambition is not what too high is answer Williams: “I wake up every-day with the ambition to be the best athlete ever to be. That motivates me more than enough”.
