Serbia puts great step to world cup, expensive defeat Iceland

Serbia this evening in the kwalificatiereeks for the world cup in Russia in 2018, a major victory booked. The team of coach Slavoljub Muslin won in own home with 3-0 Moldova and now goes only to the leadership in group D. Iceland suffered in group I to a costly defeat in Finland (1-0).

The Serbs had, from the beginning of the match in control and was waiting for goals. Mijat Gacinovic, Aleksandar Kolarov and Aleksandar Mitrovic helped Serbia to the three points against Moldova.

In the same group missed number two Ireland expensive items on a visit to Georgia. The Irish arrived in Tbilisi does not go beyond 1-1. Shane Duffy headed home early on the 0-1, but old-Vitessenaar Valeri Qazaishvili loved Ireland of the three points.

In the group with Spain and Italy, who tonight play against each other, Albania what additional pressure on both countries was laid. The Albanians won in own home with 2-0 Liechtenstein thanks to hits from Odise Roshi and Ansi Agolli and are now four points behind the Spaniards and the Italians in group G.
