Brett Kavanaugh’s can testify to the Prosecutor, if their conditions are met

Lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford say it is too willing, under the right conditions; and chief congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel reports from Capitol Hill.

Senate Democrats on Thursday called for to investigate the FBI, threats against Christine Blasey Ford, accused the woman, the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more than three decades.

But they do not require demonstrative, a similar probe of threats against Kavanaugh and his family.

In a letter to FBI Director, Christopher Wray, and joined all Democratic members of the Committee on legal Affairs, Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., Calls for the Federal authorities to take “immediate action … to investigate possible Federal crimes against Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.”

The Democrats say the threats require laws against inter-state threat of violence, as well as Federal witness intimidation and obstruction laws, add in the letter that they “strongly believe that, as Dr. Blasey Ford treated in this moment reflects how seriously our nation believe treated worthy claims of sexual assault and whether we have learned from the mistakes of the past.”

A crowdfunding campaign started by a Georgetown law professor raised more than $200,000 for Ford, ostensibly to cover their private costs of security and the increase in the funding for “women’s organizations.’

The Democrats will not do to mention them, threats against Kavanaugh or his wife, Ashley, in the letter, nor did they demand to Kavanaugh all the other FBI actions. Fox News has confirmed that the content of some of these threats against Kavanaugh’s family, the protection of officials of the Federal government.

“Please tell your rapist to lie, cheat, corrupt b—h of a man, to read a bullet in the ugly f—–g-skull,” an E-Mail to Kavanaugh’s wife this week. “My condolences to you and the marriage to a rapist. Even though you probably deserve it.”

In the meantime, sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, Dr. I., a member of the legal Committee, vowed on Thursday that the Democrats would be hard.examine Kavanaugh, even if he is confirmed by the Senate

“As soon as Democrats get the gavels,” Whitehouse told CNN — relating to the control of the Senate — you are “on the ground” by the allegations.

And Sen., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., late on Thursday, said that while he would not threaten or promise of future investigation, “more facts will come, inevitably.”

Blumenthal, who is also a member of the legal Affairs Committee, told CNN on Thursday night that the FBI should be also checked, threats against Kavanaugh or “another official.”

Earlier Thursday, Ford’s attorneys said they “would be willing to give testimony in the next week” – apparently you save your bid for the FBI for the first market introduction of a new investigation of her allegations against Kavanaugh.

In an E-Mail to the judicial Committee of Fox News, Ford’s lawyer, Debra Katz appears Ford would appear, as long as senators “conditions are fair and ensure your safety.”

“As you know, the murder has received threats that were reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family were forced from their homes,” the E-Mail. “You want to testify, provided that we can agree to, the terms and conditions are fair and ensure your safety.”

Senate Republicans Ford had invited the testimony at a hearing on Monday and gave her a Friday deadline to indicate whether they would participate.

For his part, Kavanaugh, in a letter to the justice Committee on Thursday indicated that he would be willing and ready to witness, on Monday. “I’m going to also want to continue to a hearing as soon as possible, so that I he wrote my name”,. “Since the moment I heard it for the first time, this statement, I have categorically and unequivocally rejected. I am still obliged to defend my integrity.”

But Monday’s negotiations appears unlikely. In the letter Thursday, Ford’s attorney wrote that it is “not possible” for Ford testimony on Monday. She added that “the Committee insist that it occurs, then it is arbitrary, in any case.”

Ford’s openness to the testimony threatened to once again impact of Kavanaugh’s confirmation process. Senate Republicans had said that if Ford stuck to their obvious refusal to testifiy, she would moved forward with a vote on Kavanaugh on Wednesday. The vote is now in doubt.

Your lawyers say, it must week, an investigation that is exactly what has been done, the Committee of the whole. And we would hear to love from Dr. Ford. Democratic staff is invited, to the full, every step of the way.

However, the lawyers concluded: “their strong preference is to continue to allow for the Senate Judiciary Committee, a comprehensive examination, your testimony.”

In a series of tweets earlier Thursday, the justice Committee said it was doing just that, and had been interviewed, under the penalty of the crime-three of the four members of the party where the alleged sexual assaults occurred, including Kavanaugh and his friend Mark judge.

Ford’s “lawyers say, it has to wrote an investigation, which is exactly what has done the Committee, for the whole week,” the GOP members. “And we would hear to love from Dr. Ford. Democratic staff is invited, to the full, every step of the way.”

Ford, who has acknowledged that she couldn’t remember exactly when or where the alleged sexual assault incident more than three decades, was under pressure to make their allegations against Kavanaugh under oath. They had allegedly asked a friend, over the summer, if you ever your trusted, that she had been sexually harassed, and I was told that they had.

Kavanaugh denied the accusations, when he said under oath with the Senate Republican staff earlier his week, Fox News has learned. Democratic judiciary Committee members and staff refused to this closed-door process.

The California professor said, you only hate to us, and did so only because their hand was forced by the media. You wrote a letter, in your allegations, and in July, sen Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., but not to mention Feinstein, other senators, or to Federal investigators until last week.

Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said she was motivated by a desire to protect Ford’s identity, but the Republicans said, they would have mentioned the allegations without mentioning the Ford.

After a scathing letter, the Chairman, Chuck Grassley, top Democrats this week, Feinstein in fact, Ford privacy at risk by waiting so long, and with the information about your letter leaks to the media, a few days before a key vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Grassley, R-Iowa, blasted to lay Feinstein for the failure to open, the Republican an unredacted version of the July 30 letter, had the you get.

“I can’t emphasize enough how disappointed I am,” Grassley wrote, charging that Feinstein “chose to sit to the allegations until a politically opportune moment.”
