Dramatic video footage taken by a passenger on board a Baltimore-bound flight on Monday, it showed it as a single spinner and rattle in one of the engines, the plane was forced to crash-land.
Delta Flight 1425, a 32-year-old MD-88 on the left Hartsfield-Jackson International Baltimore Washington International at 12:48 am on Monday. About an hour into the flight, passengers said they heard a loud explosion followed by smoke billowing into the cabin.
“It was starting to slow down a little bit, and it was hot,” the passenger, Avery Porch, told WMAR-TV. “I was the first person to jump in.”
In the Twitter video, it’s free-standing design continues to chatter away, while an orange glow, radiating from the center.

The flight made an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International in North Carolina, at around 2:27 a.m., according to ABC News, the report said. All of the 148 passengers on board were safe, according to the report.

The Delta provides passengers with a $30 food voucher while she was waiting for it to be diverted on to alternative flights. The airline later said that the engine has been replaced, and the aircraft would resume on Wednesday morning.
Delta Airlines did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
