A Massachusetts mother went to a man who they said exposed himself to her while she was out jogging Thursday morning, and held him down while they tried to make 9-1-1 calls, according to police.
The 35-year-old single mother, identified by her first name, the name of the Aia, she said, was listening to an audio book during the run-down Memorial Drive in Cambridge at around 7 pm, when a man is jogging in the direction of the hair, exposed himself to two times, and have tried to reach out to her to touch it as he passed, police said.

The woman, a former member of the Israeli defense forces, put down the gun, and held on to him as if they had been called to the passerbys and fellow runners 9-1-1 call. The man managed to slip away.
“He’s picked the wrong target,” she told Patch. “All I want is for women to stand up for themselves and for the bystanders to get involved.”
The Massachusetts State Police released the video.

The police said that they would encourage people to first call 9-1-1, instead of the detection of the attacker, but it was agreed this was a unique situation.
“They have reacted in the blink of an eye, which they felt was in the best form of action. Good for her. I think they put the fear of god in the man State Police Trooper James DeAngelis told Patch.
