Raw video: Seattle police to stop Costco shoplifting spree
Seattle police footage shows officers caught the men on a Costco emergency exit.
Seattle police officers were waiting at an emergency exit when two thieves tried to walk out of a Costco with vacuum cleaners and laptops under their arm.
The agents went to the Costco on Wednesday in response to a call of a burglary, the Seattle Police Department said in a statement.

Loss prevention officers from the store said one of the suspects is known. They believed that the person may have stolen from the store. The security service told the police the suspect had also been seen with a knife in the prior incidents.
When officers arrived on the scene, a black car with an 18-year-old woman inside. Body cameras captured the officers a conversation with the teenager and the block of the car to leave and then waiting in a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman burst through the fire with the stolen laptops and vacuum cleaners.

Police immediately arrested the two suspects who seemed to be shocked by the officers’ presence. Prevention of the loss of the staff said that the two suspects also stole items from a different Costco earlier that day. The stolen items were worth about $2,200. Officers also found the man in possession of a 7-inch knife.
The police said the male suspect was booked into the King County Jail “for investigation of a robbery, while the two women were booked for investigation of theft.”
