Former White House Press Secretary and Sean Spicer shares stories from his new book, “The Briefing.”

A planned attack on Sean Spicer’s book-tour has been cancelled in a Massachusetts BJ’s Wholesale Club, over apparent concerns about the “political climate.”

“We got word last Friday, the store was about to cancel “due to the political climate,” a spokesman for Regnery Publishing, told Fox News. “Of course, we were very disappointed, but also surprised, since we had such a great response to all the events we have planned around the country.”

Saturday book signing hour at the BJ’s in Seekonk, was one of more than two dozen promotional events for the former White House press secretary’s book, “The Briefing”,” between now and the end of September.

There was some confusion about the possibility of the re-booting of the case, but as of Tuesday afternoon, it is still from the books.

“According to two different reporters called the store today to find out why the event had been cancelled, we received a note from corporate saying that they wanted to go, as originally planned,” the Regnery spokesman said. “However, there seems to be some confusion, because the store will still tell people who call that the event was cancelled.”

An employee answering the phone at the Seekonk, Mass., store on Tuesday afternoon, said Fox News had been canceled the event, said a statement would come from the corporate office.

Several officials have not returned, E-Mails and phone calls of Fox News to get more details.

This particular YEAR hosted book signings for the stars of the reality TV formats as “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and “cake boss,” but it is unclear whether there have ever been, the place for a political guest.

The Spicer cancellation is the latest incident of a trumpet, administrative officer, or alumnus of the panel fallout on their affiliation.

In an incident that touched off a national debate about civility in politics, the current press Secretary, Sarah Sanders and her family in the last month, have been kicked out of a Virginia restaurant.
