Say Yes to the Dress-stylist see Dutch women struggle with weight
Say Yes to the Dress host Randy Fenoli during the recordings of the Dutch version of the program noticed that Dutch women are much less proud of their round shapes.
“With us (in the United States, red.) almost everyone’s overweight and the ladies that I was in the show get, their round shapes are much more accepted,” says the 46-year-old stylist at Grazia magazine.
Fenoli is called an example. “I got a Dutch lady for me who greatly struggled with her weight. It was even so bad that the fun of finding a wedding dress, and threatened to take away. For me that was a shock, because I believe that every bride is beautiful, regardless of her weight.”
However, the presenter positively surprised about the taste of the Dutch woman. “In America I get a lot of too many women who say that they might want to see if the Kardashians. Then I think: you Make a joke?”
“They think: how bigger, how better. Anyway, I wonder whether you have really three wedding dresses. It is your wedding, not a fashion show! A wedding should not go to the most sexy dress, but the dress is that the most beauty to the fore. The woman is the painting and the dress is the frame.”
In Say Yes to the Dress are upcoming brides helped in their search for the perfect wedding dress. The first season will consist of eight episodes. The first broadcast is on October 25 at 20:00, show at TLC.
