The Trump administration has started, start the calls for a full-scale defense of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the face of the growing Democratic “abolish ICE” – a Motto that was once limited to the far left of the party.

“Calls for the abolition of ICE cream are an insult to this hero police officers that make sacrifices every day in securing our borders, enforcement of our laws and the protection of our safety and security,” the White house said in a press release on Wednesday, including the slogan-like: “Save on ICE.”

While once limited to the protest posters and left-wing online activists calls for abolition of the Agency ramped up in recent weeks in the Wake of the controversy surrounding the administration of the “zero tolerance policy” in the prosecution of illegal cross-border workers.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, all floated as possible to the 2020 presidential candidates, have backed the call for the abolition of the Agency.

“The President is deeply immoral actions made, it is obvious we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom, starting by replace ICE cream with something that reflects our morality and the works,” Warren said on Saturday.

The White house gave a lengthy Version, outlines the consequences of the abolition of the Agency.

“The abolition of ICE cream would mean to open the borders, eliminate because of it, the Agency responsible for the removal of people who enter or remain in our country illegally, including drug dealers; gang members; and, child molesters, rapists, and other sex offenders,” the release said.

He also presented the figures to the ICE, the work of each year, and notes that ICE enforcement and removal Operations (ERO) arrested “more than 127,000 aliens with criminal convictions or charges.” ICE-Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in the meantime 4,818 gang-related arrests in FY 2017, and seized more than 980,000 kilograms of narcotics.

Mercedes Schlapp, White House director of strategic communications, slams Democrats ” calls for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, urging the Congress to take action to resolve the crisis at the border.

Meanwhile, President Trump ratchets up his rhetoric on Twitter over ICE.

“We have to protect the ICE, they protect us and we protect you,” he said at a rally in Montana.

To be in addition to the defense of the Agency, trump seems to enjoyed the idea that the Democrats will believe the “abolition of ICE cream” push-before this year’s midterm elections and the 2020 presidential election-where many conservatives and some Democrats that it spells electoral defeat could be in the most important swing states.

‘ABOLISH’ ICE MAINSTREAM GILLIBRAND, DE BLASIO CALLS BACK

“Well, I hope you keep thinking about it. Because you are going to be such a hit,” he told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Vice-President Mike Pence to visit the ICE headquarters and will meet with the staff, where he is expected to praise the agent and express the importance of the Agency in the fight to secure the country’s borders and the enforcement of the immigration laws..

But the pushback from the White house does not seem to stop the “abolition of the ICE’ movement picks up, according to strong support.
