A restaurant in New York, got the praise of former Gov. Mike Huckabee on Tuesday after posting a sign outside that said Sarah Sanders was “always welcome.”

A restaurant in New York and received the praise of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on Tuesday after posting a sign outside that said Sarah Sanders was “always welcome.”

The father of the press Secretary of the White house, which was started by a Virginia-based restaurant on Friday shared a new photo on Twitter with a orange sign outside Kipps Restaurant.

“OPEN! BREAKFAST SARAH SANDERS always WELCOME,” said the message.

The former Arkansas Governor, mused that the South Wales, NY looks locally “like my kind of place!”

The restaurant did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

The post comes after Sanders was stopped at The Red hen in Lexington, Virginia, last week, sparking the wrath of her father.

He said on Monday, “The Intelligence report with Trish Regan,” that after leaving the institution, his daughter was so into the word like before a member of the family in the breach.

“In fact, a little-known part of the story is that after Sarah and her husband left the family and moved into a restaurant on the street, the owner of the Red Hen to go then organised an effort, and scream at you from the sidewalk to the other restaurant,” Huckabee claimed.

Huckabee told the New Yorker looks locally “like my kind of place!”

The restaurant’s co-owner, Stephanie Wilkerson, told The Washington Post that she’s “not a big fan of “confrontation”, but “this feels like the moment, in our democracy, if the people have to uncomfortable measures and decisions for the preservation of morality.”

She recalled talking to Sanders, told the outlet, “I was babbling a little, but I got my point in a polite and direct manner.”

“I said to leave that the restaurant has certain standards, I feel it is true, such as honesty, compassion, and cooperation,” she allegedly said, before she eventually asks you,”.”

Sanders’ confirmed the encounter, tweeting Saturday: “last night I was told to leave by the owner of the Red hen in Lexington, Virginia, because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Your actions say a lot more about you than about me. I always do my best to treat people, even those I don’t agree with, respectfully, and will continue to do so.”
