Sanne Wevers despite miss limit included in world cup selection
Sanne Wevers will take next month at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS gymnastics in the Canadian Montreal. The olympic champion did Saturday at the bar, again, not to the limit of 14,100, but it is still guaranteed a spot in the selection.
National coach Gerben Wiersma held at the decathlon in Pigeons that the exercise of Weavers, which has a score of 13,950 yielded convincing enough for participation in the world championships.
“I missed the first combination and then you have everything to build and you are not sitting on the bar. Then it is really puzzling and survive,” said the 25-year-old Weavers against the NOS about her laborious exercise.
Nevertheless, she has the confidence in the world cup. “It’s not happening so fast that I was in the war, touch. I can be pretty fast switching and have a lot of meaning in the tournament, for me to measure with the top of the world.”
Sister Lieke Wevers came on the bar to a score of 13,500. Tisha Volleman remained on the floor with 13,100 four tenths under the stated requirement, which is not crucial for world cup participation.
