SAN FRANCISCO – a San Francisco woman has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge accusing her of the killing and the dismemberment of her roommate, whose body prosecutors say that was discovered in plastic bags in their house.
The San Francisco Chronicle, says the 47-year-old Lisa Gonzales entered the plea during a brief appearance on Thursday. Prosecutor Adam Maldonado, the city medical examiner is expected to make a full report of the victim in the next two to three weeks.
The prosecutors have said Gonzales told the police that she and her roommate argued on May 15, after her roommate refused to go out, but she didn’t remember what happened next.
The police, who went to the house about two weeks later, 61-year-old Maggie Mamer the severed arms and legs in a maggot-filled storage container.
