San Francisco mayor admits past romance, $5G car repair credit the subject of the FBI corruption probe

San Francisco mayor, London breed admitted on Friday that a 20-year friendship and a brief romantic relationship with a former urban workers, now under FBI investigation, to call and some, for their resignation.

“I write this in the spirit of transparency, because in the Wake of a scandal in the town hall, I think, San Franciscans are entitled to hear directly from their mayor,” race wrote in a post on Medium, their Association with the former San Francisco public works director Mohammed Nuru, who was charged with public corruption last month.

Race wrote, she was deeply shocked and disappointed when she heard about the charges against Nuri.

“To be clear,” she wrote. “I never asked Mohammed Nuru, something to do, and he never asked me to do something inappropriate.”

Still, you had to accept $5,600 from Nuru last year for a car repair not back has paid for it yet. She said the publication was required, but she did it for the sake of transparency.

Supervisor Gordon Mar proposed that the mayor should temporarily step out of their duties according to FOX 2.

“Mayor race, the shooting of thousands of dollars in unreported gifts from subordinates is probably illegal, certainly unethical, and part of the culture of casual corruption undermines said the public’s faith,” Mar said in a statement. “Given the seriousness of this admission, is the direct connection to the Central figure in the FBI investigation of public corruption, I believe we must first the people in San Francisco. I believe that mayor race should do the right thing and temporarily step back from their duties until a full, independent investigation can be completed.”

Supervisor Hillary Ronen, a political opponent, called the admission “troubling” and said race, should not occur.

Supervisor Dean Preston said Breed should appear before the Board of Supervisors.

“I am very concerned with revelations today that the mayor of London race, injured San Francisco right-of thousands of dollars in gifts from City Hall subordinate,” he tweeted.

Breed added, “I’m not going to apologize for Dating someone two decades ago. I’m not going to apologize for remaining close friends with him and his family for 20 years. But neither will I did apologies for any miss.”

Nuru and restaurant owner Nick Bovis were arrested late last month and charged with corruption and lying to the FBI.

You will be accused of trying to bribe an airport Commissioner to vote in favor of a company owned by Bovis at the airport, and the acceptance of gifts, by a Chinese developer in the city for business, FOX 2 reported.

Nuru stepped in this week, but both men deny the allegations.
