San Francisco wants to show you the eerie past by making you drink with live rats.

The San Francisco Dungeon in Fisherman’s Wharf is the launch of an immersive experience of the City by the Bay, the “weird, twisted, dark” history — and that is also true with live rats “rush on you” for some reason.

The tourist hot spot known for its interactive tours through the history, with live actors, exciting special effects, the opening of the Rat Bar as the “next iteration of what the Department of public Health”, according to a press release.

The Prison had previously offered a tour with such a thing as a “Rat Café.”

“Let’s face it — coffee and cakes were delicious and if we host the Rat Café, but that was a lot of work. We thought, ‘F. This time, drunk, see our show, touch the rats and drank a lot more,” said Matthew Clarkson, the regional head of marketing for West Coast, Midway Attractions, North America, Merlin Entertainments Group, the parent company of The San Francisco Dungeon).

After the history lesson, guests are shuffled out of the Rat Bar, where they are able to touch and hold live rodents by the Ratical Rodent Rescue for 30 minutes.

The strange pop-up will begin on June 13 and run through June 15, offers guests a 60-minute “journey to the dark place, where rats run free and the booze flows like water.”

Those who purchase tickets will be given to “Ama-RAT-o Sours” made with Amaretto, a citrus mix and a “rat’s tail” vegetables, before they are taken on a journey to learn about the gold rush, Chinatown gangs, shanghaiing, Alcatraz, and, appropriately, the plague.
