“Samsung has no interest in smart speaker’
Techgigant Samsung would still have no interest to a smart speaker on the market.
That reports The Korea Herald on the basis of an anonymous source. Earlier there were rumors that Samsung has such a speaker would work.
“The market for such a speaker is globally dominated by Amazon,” said the source. “The market in Korea is too small to make a profit.”
The speaker would benefit from Bixby to voice commands. The development of Bixby expires, however, slower than expected due to a shortage of data. Earlier this week, it was only English voice guidance in the US, rolled out.
The problems at Bixby are also a reason why Samsung is not a smart speaker would make, according to the source. At the moment would all of the software experts for voice control on the virtual assistant sit. The company would not be able to afford that experts now on the development of the speaker.
