Samsung-ceo once again questioned over corruption scandal

The special prosecutor of South Korea has for the second time, Samsung president Jay Y. Lee questioned. He is suspected of bribery in a major corruption scandal, in which the South Korean president is involved.

“I will again tell the truth to the prosecutors,” said Lee, according to Reuters. The Samsung ceo says not guilty in the case.

Lee is accused of bribery. The ceo would be 43 billion won (35 million euros) have been donated to a company and organizations, in the hands of a friend of president Park Geun-hye.

The president would be in exchange for the money a merger of two Samsung companies in 2015 have been supported. A majority of the companies was against the merger, leaving only the president with an order, these could continue.

Lee was previously questioned about the corruption scandal. In January asked the special prosecutor for an arrest warrant for the chief, but the court voted in.
