A police officer in Sacramento, Calif., it is in a critical condition after a suspect opened fire on her and the other senior officers on Wednesday evening, while responding to a domestic violence call.
Local reports indicate that she was the victim of an ambush. The scene in the north Sacramento community, and is tense and fluid. The police were the swarms in the back yard looking for a suspect and are warning residents to stay indoors. Multiple gunshots were reportedly heard.

The shooter most likely fired from the back of a house, the Sacramento Bee reported.

All of Warren, a municipal councillor, told the newspaper that the officer was “hurt bad.” Reports indicate that at a given point in time, and she was pulled back in a garden.
The police said the other officer maintained cover until they were able to put an armored vehicle in the area, and to perform a rescue, the officer who had been injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition, police said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were assisting, of the Sacramento Police Department. The police said that the situation has been going on.
