Russians refuse election-meddling mom to Trump, U.S. lawmakers said in Berlin

The Russian delegates at a bilateral meeting in Berlin that their country is experimenting in the 2016 US presidential election, and gave no opinion to President Donald Trump, the legislature, led, denied the 13-member U.S. delegation said on Saturday.

U.S. Rep. Chris Smith, R-N. J., a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said he did not have the interference issue during the meeting, but the members of the Russian Duma, took part, dismissed the claims as the work of “a few Russian hackers” that was not sanctioned by Moscow.

Smith said that when he claims that U.S. intelligence implied otherwise, a Russian delegate told him the number of hackers involved, who could be counted on to manipulate the election, “on both hands and a foot.”

Nevertheless, Smith said, the Rest of the two-hour session was “transparent” and “open”.

The meeting between members of Congress and their colleagues in the Russian Duma took place on the sidelines of a four-day meeting of parliamentarians from 57 countries in terms of “highly controversial questions of human rights.”

The two sides discussed the issue of human trafficking in Russia and the ongoing conflicts in Syria and Ukraine, but “no word” about Trump, the planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on 16. Reported on July in Helsinki, the Asbury Park Press.

Smith said that the Russian delegates would “try to help”, to get him a visa so he can visit Russia to investigate human trafficking and to press for international adoption.
