Russian plane with 91 passengers of a radar disappeared
A Russian plane from the radar disappeared, shortly after it took off from the airport of the Russian city of Sochi. The Tupolev Tu-154 aircraft had 91 people on board, reports the Russian news agency RIA.
The plane, belonging to the Russian ministry of Defence, was on the way to the Syrian province of Latakia.
On board were also journalists and musicians. The musicians of the Alexandrov Ensemble are scheduled for a Nieuwjaarsoptreden on the Russian air base in Latakia, reports a spokesman of the Russian ministry of Emergency situations.
The unit disappeared around 5.20 am (local time) of the radar after a maneuver above the Black Sea. Then got air traffic controllers lost contact with the pilots.
