The 2014 complaint relates to a meeting between Simmons and Christina Moore, then 26, who told The New York Times, Simmons brought her and a friend to his Miami hotel room under the guise of them directions to a bar.
Moore said Simmons started with a bath and pushed her against a column in the room. She said: “she was attacked” with his hands on her body. She added that she and her friend quickly left.
Simmons said at The Time by attorney Brad D. Rose that he remembered meeting Moore and her boyfriend, but his lawyer said that he saw the start of the bath was a “signal to Mrs. Moore and her friend to leave” the hotel room.
A prosecutor named Toni Sallie, said Simmons raped her in 1988, after they stopped seeing each other romantically.
Music journalist Toni Sallie, who said she briefly dated Simmons, told the newspaper that he raped her when she was 28 in the fall of 1988, a few months after they stopped seeing each other romantically.
Sallie claimed that Simmons invited her to his apartment in Manhattan, on the proposition that he has a party for his girlfriend, but no one was there when she arrived. She said Simmons “physically attacked” her and she fought back, but she claims that Simmons raped her.

Simmons told The Times through his lawyer that he dated Sallie, but refused to have any sex with her.

Drew Dixon, a former executive at Def Jam Recordings, told The Times that when she was 24 in 1995, Simmons sexually abused her repeatedly — including “regular” to expose himself to her. Later that year, she says, he raped her in his apartment. They quit the company soon after.
Simmons did admit to The Times that he engaged in “inappropriate behavior” with Dixon during her career at the company, but his lawyer said: “he stated that he didn’t have sex with her.”

Another woman — performer Tina Baker told The New York Times that when Simmons was her manager in the early 1990s, he raped her.
“It was really ugly, pretty fast,” Baker said, before they “did nothing” during the alleged rape-just closing her eyes as she waited at the end.”
A rep for Simmons told Fox News in a statement that the co-founder of Def Jam Recordings “vehemently” denies the allegations against him.
Through his lawyer, Simmons said that he “does not remember that she ever had a sexual relationship with Mrs. Baker.”
Another woman, Sherri Hines, told the Los Angeles Times that Simmons raped her in his office in New York, in 1983 when she was 17 or 18 years old, after they came together in a night club.
Through his attorney, Simmons told the LA Times that he “vigorously denies” Hines’ assertion.

In a statement to Fox News, Simmons said: “I vehemently deny all these allegations. These horrible accusations have shocked me to my core and all my relationships are consensual. … I have huge respect for the women’s movement, worldwide and their struggle for respect, dignity, equality, and power.”
Simmons added: “The current allegations sent to me by the New York Times and Los Angeles Times coverage of the obviously not where the frivolous and offensive.”
Simmons retired from his businesses in the last month after he was accused of sexual assault by screenwriter Jenny Lumet, the daughter of the famous director Sidney Lumet. She claimed that Simmons had sex with her more than two decades ago in his apartment. His response: “While her memory of that night is very different than mine, it is now clear to me that her feelings of fear and intimidation are real. While I was never violent, I was thoughtless and insensitive in some of my relationships in the course of many decades, and I offer my sincere apologies.”
