Aboard Royal Caribbean ‘ s new Spectrum of the Seas, select guests will be able to enjoy a shower with “unparalleled views of the water” — because their bathroom is actually floating off the side of the ship with nothing underneath.

Guests who book the 2,809-square-foot Ultimate Family Suite provides a multitude of unique features, but the most eye-catching is the bathroom that extends out over the side of the ship.
The private bathroom is cantilevered off the side of the boat, so that you to shower and bathe, while suspended on the high seas. (The mock-up gives no toilets in the floating bathroom.)
The two -, three-bedroom suite is suitable for up to 11 people and features a slide for the kids (or children) from the top floor down to the bottom. In addition to the floating bathroom, there is also an en-suite recreation room for the nights of karaoke, video games, or movie marathons.
The Ultimate Family Suite on the Spectrum of the Seas will accommodate up to 11 guests and come with an en-suite sliding from the top floor to the downstairs living room.
As always, this ultimate experience is not cheap: the Booking of the suite for a seven-day sailing starts at $50,000.
The Spectrum of the Seas will debut in Spring 2019 with cruises from Shanghai. Royal Caribbean says the new ship, to be able to keep up-to-4,246 passengers — the largest sailing in Asia.
