Peter Blosic, who snapped the photo, and was recently on a trip to the Caribbean on Allure of the Seas, when he spotted the unnamed woman in a blue bathing suit after she had apparently climbed over a balcony railing on the starboard (right) side of the ocean liner. According to the Blosic, the daredevil took off on the huge ship and the small perch to take photos of her, The Sun reports.

“What an absolute IDIOT. You can’t attack from a ship, unless you act like a fool!” he exclaimed.

Blosic said he immediately contacted guest services, and ship’s officers soon tracked down the woman. Later, the selfie-snapper, was launched from the ship when it docked in Falmouth, Jamaica, Blosic claimed to be.

A spokesman for Royal Caribbean, confirmed the incident to Fox News on Thursday, and offered the following statement on the story:

“Earlier this week, the Allure of the Seas as a guest of the observed loose and dangerous, posing for a picture, standing in her stateroom balcony railing, with the help of her co-workers,” Jonathon Fisher, the manager of corporate reputation, it said. According to Royal Caribbean’s guest conduct policy, passengers are not allowed to “sitting, standing, laying or climbing on, over or about any exterior or interior railings or other protective barriers, or tampering with the vessel, its equipment, facilities or systems for their own safety and security.

Failure to comply may result in intervention by the ship’s security, law enforcement, and, in the end, the disposing of the ship at the next port of call.
