Rotterdam formation Brotherly remains sober under success
Brotherhood is in a short time quickly to the top of the Dutch music scene shot. The Rotterdam rapformatie, consisting of Emms, Jerr, Sjaf, Mella and Edson, however, remain with both feet on the ground.
“People that appeal to me, don’t understand that I was so sober can continue,” says Emms Tuesday in the AD.
“I appreciate just what we are now experiencing. I am proud that we as boys in Spangen. But I know perfectly well that your tomorrow just as easily no one can.”
Brotherhood broke last week, the thirteen-year-old record of Frans Bauer in the album charts. Hard Work Pays Off 2 is now thirteen weeks, the longest quoted Dutch album on 1.
With money straw like the TopNotch- ‘stable-mate ‘Lil’ Small, will be Brotherly, however, not to do it quickly.
“Money format do I do with my family, my parents taking me across the world have turned, my friends of the past. And if you sometimes find yourself spoiling, is that nice?”, according to Emms.
