Valentino Rossi is concerned about the situation with his MotoGP team Yamaha. The Italian legend frustrated by the gap with the competition and find that something must be done.
Yamaha had a disappointing 2017 and last season won only Maverick Viñales, and a race on behalf of the Japanese manufacturer. The team of Rossi knew the longest period ever without the profit of a MotoGP race.
“Especially in the last 2.5 years is the technical side of MotoGP is drastically changed,” says six-time world champion Rossi Monday against Autosport.com.
“Ducati was the first team that has a step set by the amount of staff and the number of engineers to extend. It seems slightly more on Formula 1, though it is also still very far away.”
According to the 39-year-old Rossi can Yamaha not to be left behind. “Honda has followed the example of Ducati, and I have at Yamaha, intern spoken about. If we want to win, there must be also with us to change something. We’ll see if it’s going to happen.”

‘Fine if Yamaha needs Viñales listening”
According to Rossi, who in the last four years, three times second and once third was in the fight for the world championship, it is not a solution to his engine and that of team-mate Viñales apart from each other to develop.
“If they have updates to make to Viñales, that would be me also happy, because I want to try,” said the Italian, who his fourteenth season as a Yamaha rider takes effect.
“We often talk about the same things and are almost always on one line when it comes to the development of the engine. If Yamaha does everything Viñales asks is that for me fine, because then at least íéts.”
The new MotoGP season begins on 10 march with a race in Qatar. On 30 June the TT Circuit in Assen, the decor of the eighth race of the season. Honda rider Marc Márquez defends his world title.
