‘Rooney is negotiating with several Chinese clubs’
Wayne Rooney makes possible even this month the move from Manchester United to the lucrative Chinese Super League.
Various British media, including the BBC and Sky Sports report that the agent of the 31-year-old attacker is currently in China to negotiate with various clubs.
Allegedly his Guangzhou Evergrande, Beijing Guoan, Jiangsu Suning and Tianjin Quanjian in the market for Rooney, at Old Trafford still has a contract until mid-2019.
The rumours about a departure of Rooney to China have been in existence longer. The captain of the English national team is currently not a first choice among United-trainer José Mourinho.
