Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney came to the defense of his deceased friend, Sen. John McCain, on Tuesday and criticized President Trump for what he called the derogatory remarks.
Romney took a “don’t write on Twitter that he will not understand why,” Trump would make reference to the McCain “once again” on a comment Trump made, not as a “fan” of the Arizona Republican after tweeting over the weekend about the “stain” on his career.

“I can’t read to understand why the President would be to disparage, once again, a man as exemplary as my friend John McCain: heroic, courageous, Patriotic, honorable, reserved, self-sacrificing, compassionate, driven by duty to family, country and God,” “Romney’s tweet.
McCain died last August after a battle with cancer.
Trump tweeted on Saturday about new reports with McCain, said the senator and a staff member had jointly claimed with the FBI and various media, the unverified dossier, that Moscow held compromising information about Trump.
“He had much, much worse ‘spots’, as this, including the thumbs down on repeal and replace [the Obama-era of the Affordable Care Act] after years of fighting to repeal and replace!” Trump tweeted Saturday.

McCain’s daughter, Meghan, fired back with a tweet of her own, and continued the personal feud, during an emotional segment on “The view” on Monday.
“He spends his weekend time and again on big men, because he knows it, I know it, and all know it, he will never be a great man,” she said.

Trump then told reporters on Tuesday that he was “never a fan” of McCain, and that he “will never be.”
Trump and Romney have an ongoing feud of their own.

The beginning of this year, Romney a scathing op-ed, wrote in The Washington Post, in which he wrote that Trump “is not come, the is the coat in the office.”
Later, he said the country was separated as a”, than I’ve ever seen.”
