Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is not surprised by longkankerdiagnose
Ronnie Wood, the Rolling Stones guitarist-who in may a surgery on his lungs underwent after a suspicious spot was found, was not surprised when he was told that he had lung cancer.
“I already had, since 2002, no scans of my lungs to make”, says the 70-year-old guitarist in conversation with Daily Mail. “After I in 2016 had stopped smoking, voice the thought to get lung cancer to get regularly in my head. How can I be 50 years long, one-piece, smoked – plus all the other bad habits that I have – without that there is something going on?”
Before Wood with the Rolling Stones this year, went on tour, he had, as usual medical check. “The doctor asked me if I found out that he was also my heart, lungs and blood nakeek. And then he came back with the news that he has a tumor was found on my linkerlong.”
The guitarist says he has a week-long tension had to sit down, because he further studies had undergone needed to show whether the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes.
“I was at bad news, be prepared, but also had confidence that good would come. Sally (his wife, ed.) and I told the news, because we wanted no part of the hell in which we found ourselves. I had decided to not have chemotherapy to undergo if the cancer has spread. I had no desire for my hair to lose.”
A week later, got Wood to hear that the cancer had not spread. There followed a surgery to remove the tumor. “Now it’s going well. But I have to me every three months to check. I have damn much luck, but there is always a guardian angel which would have been me in the eye to keep. I would actually not here anymore.”
