Robin de Puy new Photographer laureate
Robin de Puy is the new Photographer of the Fatherland’. They take over the baton of Ahmet Polat and this is a year long the face of the Dutch professional photography.
That made the initiator Photoweek Wednesday known.
The Puy (1986) is a Dutch portrait photographer. Her photographs are always intimate, full of life in her characteristic black-and-white style and balancing on the edge of documentary photography’, describes Photoweek her work.

It is the fourth time that a Photographer laureate is appointed. The Puy makes around the theme Look! This, I am a series in Denmark about her 81-year-old uncle to Alzheimer’s suffers. The images are from september 15 to see at the international photo festival BredaPhoto.
Photoweek, set up by the Dutch photo museum and Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam, organizes the annual event with photography at a wide public is brought to the attention.
