The burgers only cost €25 ($27.91), comes to €50 ($55.83).
They were also the costs are €8 ($8.93) for an Americano coffee, two double cappuccino for €8, – ($8.93) each, plus a service surcharge of €7.40 ($8.26).
The restaurant, called Caffee Vaticano is located in front of the Vatican city, a popular tourist area.
It has more than 1,800 guest reviews on TripAdvisor with a rating of just 1.5 stars out of five.
However, TripAdvisor has since “temporarily suspended publishing of new reviews, as a result of an influx of entries after the outrage.
Many warned that the restaurant is not about the prices on the menu, which often resulted in tourists being charged at extortionate prices.
The photo of the receipt was shared on social media, with many expressing their shock at the costs.

Facebook user Carlos said: “Wow such a rip off!! thanks for the heads up!!”
He wrote: “Absurd! How are they allowed? This receipt is the most outrageous horrible and unthinkable that I could ever see!”
However, not everyone was on the diners’ side.
Someone wrote on another Facebook page: “If, in 2019, you go to a place with an average of 1.5 out of nearly 2000 TripAdvisor reviews, you earn it a little bit.”
Others were stunned to find them burgers, you order before 11 am with coffee.
