Riedewald and Bazoer nominated for Golden Boy Award
Jaïro Riedewald and Riechedly Bazoer are in the running for the Golden Boy Award. The two Dutchmen are on a list of forty nominees who Thursday was announced.
The two Players knew last season, a strong season in Amsterdam, but under coach Peter Bosz, the internationals are no longer assured of a starting.
In addition Riedewald and Bazoer, there is still one other Eredivisiespeler selected for the prestigious trophy of the Italian newspaper Tuttosport. Vitesse-player Nathan Allan de Souza, hired from Chelsea, is also on the list of forty nominees.
Further experience Riedewald and Bazoer competition from, among others, the half-Dutchman Marco Asensio, the former Ajax-target Leon Bailey, Marcus Rashford, Renato Sanches, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sané and Ousame Dembélé.
Last season won the Manchester United-talent Anthony Martial the price. Players like Raheem Sterling, Paul Pogba and Mario Champions went to the Frenchman. Just one time won a Dutchman; Rafael van der Vaart was in 2003 the first winner of the Golden Boy Award.
