The riders had to be rescued from a roller coaster at Six Flags America in Maryland on Monday afternoon after the ride stalled on the tracks.

Employees in the amusement park were able to safely get the riders off the Superman: Ride of Steel after the ride stopped in the vicinity of a peak, Prince George’s County fire officials confirmed.
The fire department reportedly received several calls from people at the amusement park, but by the time they arrived, the riders had already helped out the roller coaster. It was not clear how long the riders were stuck before being helped off.
