Ricky Koole especially with Central Medical Centre because of cast
Ricky Koole has a starring role in the new RTL-ziekenhuisserie Central Medical Center (CMC). Especially the creators and the rest of the cast appealed to her.
“I especially said yes to the people who participate,” says Koole, who in the series in the role of director Cleo. “Will Koopman does, for example, the directing, which I find incredibly fun. But also the rest of the cast: Renée Soutendijk, Susan Visser, Victor Löw, Victoria Koblenko, Lieke van Lexmond. All nice names.”
Central Medical Centre should be the new flagship of RTL 4 after earlier successes such as Gooische vrouwen and Divorce, also from the hand of the Merchant. In the series, the lives of the medical staff and his patients followed.
Many viewers will also have a direct link to predecessors such as Medisch Centrum West, IC, the Co-Assistant and foreign versions as House and Grey’s Anatomy. Still, CMC is really not to compare with such series, Koole. “I’m a fan of E. R., but the same is not. Apparently hospitals just good arenas for the series.”
As Koole a point should mention that CMC distinguishes itself from similar series, is the star cast. “That is really a wealth. You actually have fifteen main characters,” she says. “The storylines go continuously through each other. You don’t see that often.”
CMC looks also a nice way to think Koole. “Love, fights, death and birth in a tasty mix. All you have to love it.”
CMC is from October 2, each Sunday to see on RTL 4.
