“Daddy don’T have relationships with Brando,” wrote the 49-year-old. “There were no trips to the South Pacific Oasis, no flowers or love notes between them. Not even for a movie role. Why this sudden need to drag Dad through the Hollywood mud? I find it sad and ridiculous.”
“My father was very open with his life, so much so that the news of his relationship with a trans woman in the beginning of the years ’70 and’ 80 it was not really newsworthy, neither striking,” she continued. “As a child I knew her, not as a trans person in our house, but the lady who everyone accepted. “Richard always recycled women yet,” she said, adding “they kept seeing each other on and off.” And after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she said that it was Pryor who asked her to come back.
“Thank God that I have,” said Jennifer. “I came back to a mess. The people were to sell what isn’t nailed down, and I mean the children, the ex-wives, girlfriends, business managers, and lawyers. And I said, there is a new sheriff in town, close to the bank of Pryor.”
