Returned Woods sneaks away in San Diego
The first tournament in seventeen months on the Us Tour golfer Tiger Woods has only two rounds lasted.
The 41-year-old American missed a full cut at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, the tournament that he was in his glory years, seven times won.
After a dire opening round Thursday of 76 strokes, four over par, followed Woods on Friday the baangemiddelde (76). With a total of 148 is the tournament already on the veertienvoudig majorwinnaar.
Woods was not the only golfer of that name, was off in San Diego. Jason Day, the Australian number one in the world ranking, flew with 147 strokes also, just like the American Dustin Johnson, who is third in the global ranking.
Woods was by rugoperaties more than a year absent. He played last month at the Hero World Challenge, but that invitational worth is not part of the proftour PGA.
