FBI Director meets with lawmakers back on Capitol Hill to discuss the bureau’s handling of the Russia-probe-Clinton-E-Mail; Mike Emanuel reports from Capitol Hill.

The Republicans are questioning a former FBI Director, James Comey behind closed doors Monday on a variety of Russia probe-related topics-including a newly released FBI briefing document to the origins of salacious anti-Trump-dossier.

Comey is on the hill for his second closed-door interview this month is with the house of the legislator on the house judiciary and oversight committees, after a first representation, in which the Republicans complained that he not answer enough of your questions.

North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows told reporters on Monday that Republicans plan to focus on a new FBI document, released Friday in response to a Freedom of Information Act and published by Politico.

He told reporters that he wants to clarify Comey, when he first became aware of the involvement of the democratic National Committee, in the law firm of Perkins Coie and the opposition group Fusion of GPS in the production of the documents.

“I want to give him a chance to clarify, that’s all,” said Meadows.

He was elected as a heavily redacted document the information on the bureau in Russia of investigation , Comey, the FBI Director at the time, informed Trump, shortly after the Republicans for President.

The document, once again, the FBI was vague in the procurement of the dossier to the origin financed by anti-Trump Democrats.

However, meadows also said he believes it could be in conflict with earlier statements made by Comey on what he knew about the dossier’s origins to the time

“I can’t imagine how the Director of the FBI knew that the connection between Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie, and the DNC, as the meadows to the infamous dossier,” told reporters.

In an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier in April, Comey said: “that he know for the first time of the existence of the dossier in the autumn of 2016, but still…for a fact” that the DNC and Hilary Clinton had a campaign funded the work. The dossier was funded by the DNC and Clinton campaign. The FBI document vaguely refers to it as paid by “private clients”.

“An FBI source … highly politically sensitive information … on Russia’s influence in its efforts in the U.S. presidential election,” the memo said.

Based on the ex-British intelligence agent, Chris Steele, who authored the dossier, the memo said, “The source is the managing Director of a private business-intelligence company and a former employee of a friendly intelligence service that was compensated for previous coverage of the last three years.” He also said, “The source collected the data on behalf of private clients, and has not been compensated for it by the FBI.”

Trump has promoted railed against the FBI for the appeal, in part, a dossier, by the Trump of political opponents, as it began the investigation of the relations between Russia and the members of the Trump campaign.

Earlier this year, Comey said during his reading tour, he did not tell the President about the origin of the Dossiers during the briefing, saying it “was not necessary.”

Comey again for more Capitol Hill testimony by prior Dec. 7 session-on the left of the lame duck Republican legislature Smoking as Comey said repeatedly, “I don’t remember”, “I know” and “I can’t remember”, when grilled about investigations, Republicans focused on the hurt trump.

The survey revealed the FBI probe of state Hillary Clinton’s E-Mail server, and as a counter-intelligence investigation into the Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential elections, turned into an all-encompassing sample of the trump card of the inner circle, including the procurement of the FISA warrants are used to spy on American citizens.

A copy of the marathon interview, published on Dec. 8, demonstrate that the retired FBI chief of the ” lack of responsiveness and the tension between him and GOP lawmakers.

Comey also raised eyebrows when he told MSNBC a week ago that he broke Protocol to send FBI agents to interview the President of Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn in the year 2017. The new details about those fate — which led to criminal charges against Flynn interview liable — are sure to come up in Monday’s interview. The judge dealing with the Flynn’s confession has raised new questions about how the affair was handled.

Asked to describe how two FBI agents ended up in the White house to interview Flynn in January 2017, Comey, in an interview with MSNBC ‘ s Wallace Nicolle during a forum discussion last Sunday, said flatly: “I have sent them.”

Comey went on to confirm that the way the interview was set up – not by the White house counsel’s office, but directly with the Flynn – was a common practice. He called it “something I wouldn’t have done probably, or maybe the way to get more … organized the administration.”
