The salacious and unconfirmed opposition research dossier, cited by the FBI as his main justification to monitor top Trump aide contains a lot of claims that was “probably wrong,” the Yahoo News reporter, among the first to break the news of the application.

The documents describe the #1 source on how someone is “hired, the research of a business partner” in Trump Russia relations — but failed to mention that the Fusion GPS-financed by the DNC and Clinton campaign.

Instead, the documents say only: “The FBI speculated that the identified U.S. person was likely to discredit in search of information that could be used to, [Trump’s] campaign.” Fox News believes that the U.S. person Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS.

Page in October, announced that he is filing a defamation lawsuit against the DNC on the dossier claims. He is also Perkins Coie and its partners sued the law firm that represented Clinton’s campaign, and hired Fusion GPS.

“There are so many lies were., as you are alluding to, and you consider the damage done to our Democratic System and our institutions of government, and again in 2016 And I’m just trying to have some justice,” he said.

To pay now, ex-Cohen-lawyer Lanny Davis laughed off a proposal, in a MSNBC interview on Sunday that his former client had ever had a trip to Prague by Russian hackers.

“No, no Prague, ever, never,” said Davis.

While Cohen team has long denied that he made the trip, the last denial comes after Cohen pleaded guilty in two separate charges connected to his work for President trump. Cohen has committed to working with Federal agencies, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the team has said that he largely made that way.


Fox News reported in August that the embattled justice Department official Bruce ear had contact in the year 2016 with a then-colleague Andrew Weissmann, who is now a top-Müller Deputy, and other senior FBI officials about the controversial anti-Trump-Dossiers, and the people behind it.

The sources said the ear of the public relations work on the dossier, as well as Steele and the opposition research firm behind it, Glenn Simpson Fusion GPS; and his wife, Nellie ear the work for the merger – which occurred before and after the FBI fired Steele as a source about his media contacts. The ear contains a network of contacts on the dossier: the anti-Trump, a former FBI agent Peter Strzok; former FBI lawyer, Lisa page; former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe; Weissmann and at least one other DOJ official; and a current FBI agent, together with Strzok on the Russia case.

Weissmann was kept “in the loop” on the dossier, a source said, while he was chief of the criminal fraud division. He is now with Müller ‘ s team.

Ear wide circle of contacts shows the members of the FBI management knew of his back-channel activities in relation to the dossier and Steele.

Congressional Republicans are still trying to the end of the ear ‘ s role in the dissemination of unverified dossier, which was an important part of the evidence in obtaining a monitoring for the site in October 2016.
