DETROIT, Mich. – The police says that the woman was dragged off a flight at Detroit Metropolitan Airport refused to check her bag, wipes her boarding pass, and to leave the plane when asked.
New details of the Dec. 12 incident are displayed in the report obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press through a public records request. The 40-year-old Michigan woman was removed from a Delta Air Lines flight preparing to depart for San Diego in the suburbs of Detroit airport.
A video posted online shows officers dragging the woman by the aisle as passengers watched. The report says that she “passively resisted by a fall on the ground.”
The woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and not obeying the police and leaving the plane.
She is set to be arraigned Jan. 18 at Romulus court.
