New York Republican REP Lee Zeldin, telling the trump administration has the guide below MS-13.
Rep. Lee Zeldin and several of his house Republican colleagues to force in the hope of a vote on a bill meant to counter the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestments and sanctions (BDS) movement.
Republicans on Wednesday filed a discharge petition on H. R. 336, the strengthening America’s Middle East security Act of 2019.

If the petition receives a majority of the house votes – 218 – H. R. 336, go back to the House floor. The bill passed the Senate on a largely bipartisan vote in February.
Zeldin, R-NY, has been outspoken about what he sees as an increase of anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic hatred to infiltrate U.S. politics, the universities, and the halls of Congress.
“We need a strong statement, as a body, we are against all these anti-Semitism, all the anti-Israel hatred,” Zeldin said on “America’s Newsroom” on Thursday. “Israel is our closest ally in the Middle East. And there is a relationship, we strengthened should not be weakened.”
He said that Congress needs to do more than just the statement, you must-pass legislation “with teeth.”
H. R. 336 would allow, security assistance for Israel for 10 years and allow the state and local governments to enact laws to divest public funds from the people, the boycott of Israel, according to a press release from Zeldin’s office.

“We should Congress, in the efforts to strengthen our relations with our main ally, we should have a Congress to unite to clearly, forcefully in condemning anti-Semitism,” Zeldin said.
