MANCHESTER, N. H. – democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell confirmed that, if the “dish” on Twitter, “you better bet will be able to take it.”

Speaking of Fox News during a visit here Monday, the probable Democratic presidential candidate admitted he was “legally” trained on social media last week to complain about the fact that you are going to somewhere other than the Trump Tower for a coffee. His post quickly an avalanche of responses gathered, including Trump Fans who mocked Swalwell, and pointed out that there are plenty of alternatives for coffee in midtown Manhattan.


“So I was quite experienced about it on Twitter, and this is why I love Twitter,” said Swalwell, D-Calif. “Sometimes it’s just a cathartic place where you can dish out and you will be in a better position, and simply move on to the next tweet.”

Last Wednesday, as he is on his way through New York City, Swalwell a selfie published and wrote, “it’s snowing in #NewYork. I need a Cup of coffee. The next cafe is in the interior of the Trump Tower. I walk to an alternative.”

Critics, including Fox News host Laura Ingraham, took, to mock, to Twitter, Swalwell, say “since you have been already in operation, in the “alternative” universe for years, this should be easy for you. (Try the Russian Tea Room—maybe you will finally find your understandings.)”

Swalwell, a former Prosecutor, is a member of the House Intelligence and judiciary committees, has been a vocal critic of President Trump on the relationship between Trump in the 2016 presidential campaign, and Russia.


The question about the reaction he received over his coffee-tweet, an amused Swalwell told Fox News on Monday, “I was in a snow storm in Manhattan, and was confused and the only coffee Shop around was the Trump Tower.”

“Don’t go there. Not, of Manhattan knew very well,” he added. “It seems like 100 other coffee shops within reach.”

Swalwell on a two-day campaign-style swing through New Hampshire – the state holds the first primary in the race for the White house. His visit came to be delivered, such as the speculation about as special counsel, Robert Mueller’s report on his investigation into the Russian Manipulation of the election in 2016, the attorney General reached fever pitch, with some reports that the results of pass will come as early as this week.

Donald Trump Jr dismissed any notion that he, the President, or his family have any fears in connection with the Miller inquiry or a probe by the Southern district of New York.

Swalwell took questions from reporters after her appearance as the Headliner of the “politics and eggs”, is a must for White house hopefuls.

The 38-year-old four-term Congressman, who was his fourth trip to New Hampshire since the beginning of November, told Fox News that he will his decision about a presidential bid soon.

The Republican National Committee took aim at Swalwell ambitions Wednesday.

“Between his busy schedule of the cable TV interviews, Eric Swalwell, is back in New Hampshire, as he is considering his all-but-certain presidential bid. But Swalwell –who would win a very long shot to the nomination of the Democrats – pushed back against suggestions that he would use-2020-campaign, to try to line up a place as a running mate.

“I do this because I think I can win. Not to sell a book, not for any other job,” he replied.
