MANCHESTER, N. H. – democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell confirmed that, if the “dish” on Twitter, “you better bet will be able to take it.”

Speaking of Fox News during a visit here Monday, the probable Democratic presidential candidate admitted he was “legally” trained on social media last week to complain about the fact that you are going to somewhere other than the Trump Tower for a coffee. His post quickly an avalanche of responses gathered, including Trump Fans who mocked Swalwell, and pointed out that there are plenty of alternatives for coffee in midtown Manhattan.

“So I was quite experienced about it on Twitter, and this is why I love Twitter,” said Swalwell, D-Calif. “Sometimes it’s just a cathartic place where you can dish out and you will be in a better position, and simply move on to the next tweet.”

Last Wednesday, as he is on his way through New York City, Swalwell a selfie published and wrote, “it’s snowing in #NewYork. I need a Cup of coffee. The next cafe is in the interior of the Trump Tower. I walk to an alternative.”

Critics, including Fox News host Laura Ingraham, took, to mock, to Twitter, Swalwell, say “since you have been already in operation, in the “alternative” universe for years, this should be easy for you. (Try the Russian Tea Room—maybe you will finally find your understandings.)”

Swalwell, a former Prosecutor, is a member of the House Intelligence and judiciary committees, has been a vocal critic of President Trump on the relationship between Trump in the 2016 presidential campaign, and Russia.

The question about the reaction he received over his coffee-tweet, an amused Swalwell told Fox News on Monday, “I was in a snow storm in Manhattan, and was confused and the only coffee Shop around was the Trump Tower.”

“Don’t go there. Not, of Manhattan knew very well,” he added. “It seems like 100 other coffee shops within reach.”

Swalwell on a two-day campaign-style swing through New Hampshire – the state holds the first primary in the race for the White house. “I do this because I think I can win. Not to sell a book, not for any other job,” he replied.
