Attorney General William Barr rejected allegations that he lied during his congressional hearing as “ridiculous” in an exclusive Fox News interview, but at least one Democrat is already pushing back on the claim.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News broadcast, that, on Friday, AG Barr was quick to dismiss the allegations by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other party members that he lied while under oath during his hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, earlier this month.

“I think it’s ridiculous, it’s free and I think it is made largely in order to try to discredit me, in part, because they maybe worried about the outcome of the review, what happens during the election,” said Barr, Bill Hemmer.

But, during an appearance on “America’s Newsroom” to Barr’s interview, House Oversight and government Reform member Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., the AG’s comments, responds and informs the host Jon Scott, which focused the house’s Democrats in the election.

“My view is that the lies and that is not our concern,” Rep. Khanna explained after the explanation of Barr’s hearing testimony is consistent with the Müller is a publicly released letter to criticize his summary.

“I think the whole thing can also be answered if Bob Mueller comes to Congress and testifies, explains what he found, and then we can go ahead and do things, such as infrastructure and sell prescription drugs,” Khanna Scott said.

“He has a tough job, but he has his job much harder,” Khanna Scott said. “If he had just been transparent with the American people, we would be in a much better place. I think honestly that he is the President a disservice.”

Khanna is also the ongoing investigation into the intentions of the FBI and the CIA discussed the use of the Steele dossier and called on the Americans to thank, Jim Baker, Christopher Wray, as well as the FBI and the CIA for their service.

“The basic inquiry was the alignment of the trump campaign. It was a counterintelligence operation. It was not based on the dossier,” Khanna said. “I welcome the efforts, the help of our intelligence services, so that America is safe.”
