House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins reacts to the recent indictment speaks from Democrats.
The President is to blame for the work not in the situation with the Democratic leaders?
Not according to Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., who said on Wednesday the only thing that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is concerned with is, keep your job.
“Why would be thrown the blame on the President when they accused the speaker of the house of him, basically that you arrive a crime today, before at all there? The President is someone — he wants to do business, he wants to try, but if you said people kick sand in his face or accusing him of a crime he is going to react,” Collins, on “The story with Marth MacCallum.”
ANGRY TRUMP ‘RAPE OF THE LAND SAYS,” AS A CHARGE TO PUSH THE CRITICAL MASS APPROACHES
Trump on Wednesday called on Democrats to end what he called their “false tests” before he will negotiate with them on issues such as infrastructure, after cutting a short meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate democratic leader Chuck Schumer.
Moments before, the sit-down, Pelosi Trump accused of “a cover-up” over the Russia-probe.
Collins said the President, his passion for his work and took a shot at Democrats for not wanting to work with those across the aisle, and only worried about the elections of 2020.
“This President is passionate about the American people, he is passionate about getting Americans back to work, he is passionate about doing the infrastructure, and what we have seen so far, the Democrats, especially the speaker, who is passionate about keeping your job and tell all the others what you have done wrong, and that is exactly the wrong idea. You want him defeated, in the year 2020, instead of actually an agenda that said here in the house,” Collins.
The Congressman also noted a split in the Democratic party, which says that some Democrats just want to be anti-Trump actions.
TRUMP CALLS FOR AN END TO THE “FALSE INVESTIGATION” INTO THE FIERY ROSE GARDEN STATEMENT AFTER A MEETING WITH DEMS CUT SHORT
“You have to feed two different bases. It is said that charges. It is said that you go after trump, do everything you can to destroy the President. While the others do not say in your group, we want our voters do not want, and you want to, you move slow,” Collins said.
“You lose the policy, you lose on the facts, and now the American people, those who lose in the end because you do something with the majority that you have in the house.”
