The European Union Baroque Orchestra has, because of the possible consequences of Brexit decided to take Britain to leave and settle in Belgium.
The renowned band Union Baroque Orchestra (EUBO), that musicians from fourteen different European countries, installs itself in Antwerp. That writes the British newspaper The Guardian.
The musicians, who now have their base in Oxfordshire in the southeast of Britain, fear that the retirement of the country from the European Union will have an impact on their foreign travel. “I fear that the European orchestras are no longer talented British musicians will invite to work with them,” explains Emma Wilkinson, general manager of EUBO.
“The bureaucratic difficulties are numerous.” The orchestra returns on may 19, upcoming his last concert in London and after that finally to Antwerp.
Other musical formations may follow their example, adds The Guardian again.
